Our Background
During the AmaZon fires Um Só distributed hundreds of water filters throughout the Forrest to villages without clean water sources along with beginning the development of a sustainable water source plan that will serve thousands. Founded by a Gastrologist/ Chef and an Herbal Healer, the medicine of food is at our core. In 2020, during the height of the Covid pandemic, Um Só partnered with No Res Gourmet to help feed over 20,000 homeless humans gourmet meals. Currently Um Só is part of a team that is creating solar powered community refrigerators in Los Angeles, and bringing solar powered wells/ sustainable energy to the Amazon.

Our Background
Created on the steps of the altar of intentions (Black Rock City, Nv) the Um Só Initiative was a prayer of gratitude to the earth from our hearts, shown with an oath to restore it with our minds. Understanding that our thoughts have the power to manifest realities, we utilize this gift with principled responsibility. We believe that there is nothing more powerful than the human soul on fire, and ultimately our walk is our prayer.
